Lengthening and creating flexibility in the pelvic floor is essential to create space for the passage of your baby. We will teach you effective techniques to stretch and mobilize your pelvic floor in preparation for labour and delivery.

Lifestyle and healthy habits have a huge impact on decreasing strain to our pelvic floor. You will learn the digestive, breathing and exercise evidenced based tips to reduce pressure on the pelvic floor and support postnatal healing.

Hi, I'm Melanie

I've worked with a variety of clientele but have developed a true passion for working with both the expecting and postnatal women. Throughout my 20+ year career as an orthopaedic and pelvic health physiotherapist, I've had the pleasure of helping thousands of new mothers thrive as they transition into parenthood. I've built both a career and business around helping parents define pregnancy on their terms and understand to tools available to them for a truly healthy perinatal journey.

Most importantly I am a mother myself. Through my own experience of high risk pregnancy and extensive postpartum recovery, I acutely understand the challenges new parents face in our current climate to find support through pregnancy and establish a community of peers and experts to support them pre- and postnatally. The combination of my professional and personal experience has uniquely positioned me to fill this gap and help more parents Thrive through pregnancy.
